Founder & managing partner
Michael Melanson is the Founder and Managing Partner of Foxcroft Capital, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy, deal execution, and capital formation. With a background spanning commercial real estate underwriting, credit analysis, and private investing, Michael brings a disciplined approach to identifying undervalued opportunities and creating long-term value for investors.
Michael holds an MBA with a concentration in finance, as well as a bachelor’s degree in finance. His professional career has been defined by rigorous financial analysis, deal structuring expertise, and a commitment to investor transparency.
At Foxcroft Capital, Michael oversees acquisitions, investor relations, and strategic growth initiatives. He is passionate about building a vertically integrated investment and development platform that prioritizes disciplined underwriting, operational excellence, and long-term partnerships.

JAMES Gibb IS THE DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT and capital projects AT FOXCROFT CAPITAL, WHERE HE OVERSEES THE EXECUTION OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS IN SUPPORT OF THE FIRM’S VALUE-ADD BUSINESS PLANS. WITH 13 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE TRADES AND A BACKGROUND AS A BUSINESS OWNER, JAMES BRINGS A DISCIPLINED, INSTITUTIONAL APPROACH TO PROJECT DELIVERY WITH A FOCUS ON BUDGET ADHERENCE, SCHEDULE CONTROL, AND QUALITY STANDARDS.
JAMES PARTNERS WITH THE INVESTMENT AND ASSET MANAGEMENT TEAMS ACROSS DUE DILIGENCE AND PRE-CONSTRUCTION TO SUPPORT SCOPE DEVELOPMENT, UNDERWRITING INPUTS, AND RENOVATION PLANNING. HE LEVERAGES AN ESTABLISHED NETWORK OF CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS TO SOURCE CAPABLE TEAMS, DRIVE COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT, AND MAINTAIN ACCOUNTABILITY ACROSS TRADES THROUGHOUT EXECUTION.
AT FOXCROFT CAPITAL, JAMES IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VENDOR SELECTION AND MANAGEMENT, BID REVIEW, CHANGE-ORDER OVERSIGHT, AND QUALITY CONTROL FROM PRE-CONSTRUCTION THROUGH PROJECT CLOSEOUT. HIS PRIORITY IS TO MITIGATE EXECUTION RISK, PROTECT INVESTOR CAPITAL, AND SUPPORT CONSISTENT OUTCOMES THROUGH OPERATIONAL DISCIPLINE AND HIGH-STANDARD ASSET IMPROVEMENTS.
